When the gates of the Dubai International Cricket Stadium opened at 3:30 p.m., the usual chaotic traffic and long queues synonymous with this iconic rivalry were noticeably subdued. However, as the day progressed, passionate fans donning India’s blue and Pakistan’s green filled the stands, bringing the stadium to life with vibrant chants, songs, and dances. Though the 25,000-capacity venue wasn’t packed at the first ball, the enthusiastic crowd countered the dissenting voices on social media.
