Mumbai-Based HR Professional and Animal Activist Vaishali S Debuts with the Heartfelt Romance Novel Together Yet Apart

A Story Written from the Heart

At the heart of Together Yet Apart are Aanchal and Aaditya, two individuals whose lives become intertwined through love, destiny, and life’s unexpected challenges. As their relationship evolves, they are forced to confront emotional conflicts, difficult choices, misunderstandings, loss, and the enduring hope that true love can survive even the toughest trials.

The novel is not merely a love story—it is a reflection of real emotions that countless readers will recognise from their own lives. It reminds us that relationships are rarely perfect, love often demands courage, and healing is possible even after life’s deepest wounds.

With its emotionally engaging narrative and authentic portrayal of human emotions, Together Yet Apart is expected to resonate with readers who appreciate stories that are heartfelt, meaningful, and inspiring.

A Journey Years in the Making

For Vaishali S, becoming a published author represents far more than achieving a professional milestone—it is the realisation of a lifelong dream.

Writing has always been her greatest passion. However, the demands of building a successful career, pursuing higher education, and fulfilling family responsibilities meant that her dream of becoming an author had to wait. Despite these challenges, she never let go of her love for storytelling, believing that every dream deserves its moment.

Reflecting on her literary journey, Vaishali shares:

“Publishing my first book is not just a milestone—it is a part of my soul finding its voice. Writing is more than words on paper; it is the art of transforming emotions into stories that can comfort, inspire, and connect people. Together Yet Apart carries pieces of my heart, my thoughts, and my dreams, and I hope readers find a part of themselves within its pages.”

She further adds:

“I began writing not because inspiration suddenly arrived, but because writing has always been my true passion. Some dreams take longer to become reality, but they are worth waiting for.”

A Diverse Academic and Professional Background

Originally from Kolkata and residing in Mumbai since 1995, Vaishali S has built an impressive academic and professional profile.

She holds:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
• A Master’s degree in Human Resources
• A Master’s degree in Human Rights and Labour Law
• A qualification in Interior Designing

Her educational journey reflects her curiosity, dedication to lifelong learning, and deep understanding of human behaviour and interpersonal relationships—qualities that naturally enrich her storytelling.

As an experienced Human Resources professional, Vaishali has spent years understanding people, emotions, workplace relationships, and personal growth. These experiences have significantly influenced her writing, allowing her to create characters that feel authentic, emotionally layered, and deeply relatable.

Compassion Beyond Literature

While literature allows Vaishali to touch people’s hearts through words, her compassion extends far beyond writing.

She is the Founder of Happy Leos Rescue Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing abandoned, injured, abused, and neglected animals. Through the foundation, she works tirelessly to provide food, shelter, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term care for animals in need.

Her commitment to animal welfare has become a defining part of her life’s mission. Whether through rescue efforts, feeding initiatives, or creating awareness about responsible animal care, Vaishali believes that kindness should extend to every living being.

Her work as an animal welfare activist reflects the same values that shape her writing—empathy, compassion, hope, and unconditional love.

Looking Ahead

Although romance will always hold a special place in her heart, Vaishali hopes to explore a wide range of themes in future books, including human emotions, family relationships, social realities, personal transformation, and the resilience that enables people to overcome life’s greatest challenges.

She believes that every story has the power to inspire change, heal emotional wounds, and remind readers that they are never alone in their struggles.

A Message to Aspiring Writers

Having finally realised her dream after years of perseverance, Vaishali encourages aspiring authors to remain true to themselves.

“Trust your own voice. Write fearlessly. Write honestly. Don’t compare your journey with anyone else’s. Every writer has a unique story to tell, and your words may become the reason someone feels understood, hopeful, or inspired. Never underestimate the power of your story.”

A Novel That Speaks to the Heart

With Together Yet Apart, Vaishali S hopes readers will discover much more than an engaging romance. She hopes they will find hope after heartbreak, strength after disappointment, and the enduring belief that love, kindness, empathy, and compassion remain among life’s greatest gifts.

Her debut serves as a reminder that while life often separates people in unexpected ways, the emotions that connect us remain timeless.
