Selfybook: A Platform for Showcasing True Talent in the Digital Age

Recognizing this challenge, Karnataka-based startup Selfybook is building a platform focused on one simple idea: helping people showcase their true talent. Founded in 2025 by Nanjesh Bennur and Lepana T N, Selfybook believes that every individual possesses unique skills, creativity, knowledge, and achievements that deserve recognition.

The platform encourages users to present themselves authentically and demonstrate what they can do rather than simply compete for attention.

“Everyone has talent, but not everyone gets an opportunity to showcase it. Selfybook is designed to bridge that gap,” says Founder & CEO Nanjesh Bennur.

Unlike traditional social networking platforms that often prioritize viral content and influencer culture, Selfybook aims to create an ecosystem where students, professionals, artists, athletes, creators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and skilled individuals can build their digital identity around their abilities and accomplishments.

The platform allows users to share creative content, showcase projects, demonstrate expertise, highlight achievements, build professional credibility, and connect with communities that value genuine talent. Whether someone is a singer, photographer, teacher, software developer, designer, sportsperson, writer, entrepreneur, or skilled professional, Selfybook provides a space to gain visibility based on merit and engagement.

Supporting this vision is the company’s advanced AI infrastructure, including AI Trust Scoring, Fraud Detection, Behavioral Analytics, and its proprietary Audience Value Auction Engine (AVAE). These technologies are being developed to promote authentic engagement, reduce fake interactions, and help deserving talent receive meaningful recognition.

Selfybook’s vision extends beyond content sharing. The company aims to create opportunities through talent discovery, creator monetization, business networking, job opportunities, knowledge sharing, and hyperlocal engagement. By connecting talented individuals with businesses, recruiters, collaborators, and audiences, the platform seeks to convert visibility into opportunity.

Selfybook recently secured ₹25 lakh in pre-seed funding at a ₹5 crore valuation, marking an important milestone in the company’s growth journey. The investment reflects investor confidence in Selfybook’s vision of building a technology-driven platform focused on talent discovery, authentic engagement, and opportunity creation.

The funding will support product enhancement, AI development, user acquisition, and market expansion as the company prepares to scale its platform across Karnataka and beyond.

With its official launch scheduled on June 30, World Social Media Day, Selfybook is preparing to introduce a platform where success is driven not merely by popularity but by genuine talent, skills, and contribution.

As digital platforms continue to evolve, Selfybook is championing a powerful message: the future belongs to platforms that help people present their true selves, showcase their talent, and create meaningful opportunities.
