The Teej festival was organised by the founder President of Elite Vaish Pariwar to Celebrates the Vibrant Colors of Culture, Tradition and Festivity

Women dressed in traditional attire and men wearing colourful kurta-pajamas added a vibrant cultural charm to the festivities. The atmosphere was filled with joy and enthusiasm as music, dance, entertainment and social interaction brought members and guests together in a spirit of celebration.

Speaking on the occasion, S k Gupta, Founder President and founder of Elite Vaishya Parivar, said that EVP is not merely an organisation but a family where members stand by one another in moments of happiness and sorrow and participate together in important social and festive occasions.

He said that the organisation regularly organises family gatherings and social events on festivals such as Holi, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and Teej. The grand celebration on the occasion of Hariyali Teej was organised as part of this continuing tradition of bringing families and members together.

Sushil Gupta said that Teej is an important festival deeply rooted in Indian culture and tradition. Particularly for women, the festival is associated with marital happiness, prosperity, family well-being and the auspiciousness of married life. On Teej, women traditionally dress up in festive attire, perform rituals and prayers, and celebrate the occasion through folk songs and dance.

He said the Teej celebration organised by Elite Vaishya Parivar was an effort to connect this rich cultural tradition with the changing contemporary social environment.

Live music and dance performances were among the major attractions of the event and provided entertainment to the gathering. Various cultural performances presented a vibrant picture of Indian folk traditions. Women participated enthusiastically in the celebration, dressed in traditional attire and festive jewellery in keeping with the spirit of Teej.

Men also participated in the celebrations wearing colourful kurta-pajamas as part of the designated festive dress code. The traditional attire added a distinctive cultural character to the entire event.

A special mehndi and bangle arrangement was another major attraction of the festival. Women enjoyed getting mehndi applied and selecting traditional bangles. The Teej Grooming Corner, attractive photo booth and various entertainment activities further enhanced the festive atmosphere.

There was considerable enthusiasm among participants for the Teej Queen segment, which recognised the best traditional attire and appealing presentation. A lucky draw and return gifts for members added further excitement and happiness to the celebration.

Special arrangements were also made for guests, including popular Old Delhi-style chaat, pakoras, golgappas, high tea and a variety of other delicacies. The arrangements for entertainment and food transformed the event into a warm and memorable family gathering.

Participants danced to popular and traditional musical numbers and shared moments of happiness and camaraderie with one another. Elite Vaishya Parivar succeeded in making the festival a special occasion for social and cultural interaction among its members.

The EVP Core Committee played an important role in organising the event. Members associated with the organisation and invited guests participated enthusiastically in the celebrations.

Sushil Gupta said that in a rapidly changing social environment, such celebrations provide an opportunity to remain connected with India’s cultural roots. Festivals are not confined merely to religious rituals. They also serve as a means of bringing society together, strengthening family bonds and introducing the younger generation to the country’s rich traditions.

He said the objective of Elite Vaishya Parivar is to strengthen social unity and family relationships while carrying India’s cultural traditions and festivals forward to the younger generation. Through celebrations of Holi, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and Teej, the organisation has consistently worked to promote social interaction and family bonding.

The Hariyali Teej celebration emerged as a vibrant example of this spirit.

The festival beautifully blended tradition with modern entertainment. While the fragrance of folk culture was clearly visible throughout the event, warmth and togetherness among families and members were equally evident.

The celebration also conveyed the message that Indian festivals are not merely dates marked on the calendar. They are living symbols of our cultural memories, family values and social unity.

The Teej Festival organised by Elite Vaishya Parivar thus emerged as a meaningful initiative to carry India’s rich cultural heritage forward while celebrating it with joy, enthusiasm and a contemporary spirit.
