Google Pixel 10 Launched in India at ₹79,999, Matches iPhone 16 Pricing; Pixel 9 Gets Cheaper

Google officially introduced the Pixel 10 in India on August 20, 2025, setting its base price at ₹79,999 for both the 128 GB and 256 GB variants. Interestingly, this places the new Pixel at the same starting price as Apple’s iPhone 16 (₹79,900), making it a direct competitor in the premium smartphone market.

Pixel 9 Price Cut

With the launch of the latest flagship, Google has slashed the price of last year’s Pixel 9. The 128 GB variant is now available at ₹74,999, down from its original ₹79,999 launch price. This adjustment makes the Pixel 9 a more budget-friendly choice while still offering solid performance and features.

Key Features of Pixel 10

The Pixel 10 is powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, manufactured on a 3nm process, which brings improved performance and energy efficiency. It also runs on Android 16 with the promise of seven years of software updates.

Some standout AI-powered features include:

  • Magic Cue – an intelligent assistant that pulls contextual information from emails, messages, and calendar events.

  • Camera Coach – an AI tool that guides users on framing and editing photos for better results.

Camera and Design

The Pixel 10 keeps the signature camera bar design but upgrades to a triple-camera setup, offering a main sensor paired with two supporting lenses. Google has also refined the design with new color finishes to give the phone a premium look.

Availability and Ecosystem

The Pixel 10 will be sold directly through Google’s official online store in India, alongside the Pixel Watch 4 and other accessories. This strategy emphasizes a more connected hardware ecosystem for Indian buyers.
