According to Mr. Mahesh Bhambwani, Media Secretary – BJP Professional Cell Mumbai, Maharashtra, is currently witnessing one of its most transformative growth phases, driven by strong leadership, infrastructure expansion, digital governance, and investor confidence under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Speaking to media representatives during a recent interaction in Mumbai, Mr. Bhambwani stated that the state government’s vision aligns closely with the national roadmap of “Viksit Bharat,” focusing on economic growth, employment generation, urban transformation, and technology-led governance.
He highlighted that Maharashtra is rapidly emerging as India’s strongest economic engine, with major investments being directed toward infrastructure, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), digital ecosystems, logistics, and innovation hubs. He described the state’s trillion-dollar economy vision as “a matter of pride for every Maharashtrian.”
Commenting on Mumbai’s future, Mr. Bhambwani said that the city is steadily evolving into a global economic and technology hub through projects such as metro expansion, coastal infrastructure, new business corridors, and emerging economic zones. He added that ongoing connectivity and urban development initiatives would significantly improve ease of living and attract global investments over the next decade.
Mr. Bhambwani further appreciated the Maharashtra government’s focus on education reforms and governance transparency. He noted that constructive dialogue between policymakers and professionals is helping address long-standing concerns related to schools, teachers, and digital systems in education administration.
Speaking on employment and entrepreneurship, he stated that Maharashtra’s push towards media-tech, AVGC, startup ecosystems, and manufacturing growth is expected to create large-scale opportunities for the youth of the state. He emphasized that the BJP’s Professional Cell continues to act as a bridge between policymakers and industry professionals to ensure constructive policy engagement and public participation.
