New Delhi [India], October 13:NoBroker Packers and Movers, the relocation services vertical of NoBroker Technologies Solutions Private Limited, has won the Gold award in the “Best Use of AI/ML in Logistics” category at the ET Supply Chain Awards, held recently in New Delhi. The recognition places NoBroker Packers and Movers alongside some of the country’s most established industrial and consumer names, with other winners at the event including Tata Motors, ITC and Licious, underscoring the calibre of the competition and the scale of the achievement.
Organised under the aegis of The Economic Times’ supply chain vertical, the ET Supply Chain Awards recognise organisations reshaping logistics, warehousing and operations through measurable innovation. That a home-relocation service (a category long associated with word-of-mouth referrals, paper estimates and unpredictable moving-day experiences) should win Gold in an AI/ML logistics category says as much about how far the sector has evolved as it does about the platform itself.
Solving Relocation’s Oldest Problem With Data
India’s packers and movers industry has historically been fragmented and unorganised, with quality and pricing varying widely from city to city and vendor to vendor. NoBroker Packers and Movers was built specifically to bring structure to that chaos, offering customers verified service partners, transparent quotes and end-to-end coordination for household and office relocations, as an extension of NoBroker’s broader mission of removing middlemen and inefficiency from real estate-adjacent services.
It is this relocation vertical where artificial intelligence and machine learning appear to have been applied most directly:

Matching customers with the right moving partner based on location, load size and timelines
Forecasting demand across cities and seasons to ensure vehicle and manpower availability
Optimising routing and scheduling to cut down transit time and cost
Reducing the uncertainty that has traditionally made moving day one of the more stressful parts of relocating.
The ET Supply Chain Awards jury’s decision to recognise this work with Gold suggests that NoBroker Packers and Movers’ AI-led approach has matured well beyond a basic booking platform, into a logistics system capable of standing up against dedicated freight, warehousing and manufacturing players at a national awards platform.
Industry recognition of this kind matters for a few reasons:
First, it validates NoBroker Packers and Movers’ positioning as a technology-led logistics service, not merely a marketplace connecting customers to local movers, a distinction the vertical has worked to establish since its inception.
Second, it signals to the broader supply chain community that consumer-facing relocation services, not just enterprise freight and manufacturing operations, are becoming serious contributors to AI-led operational innovation in India.
Third, for a business operating in a notoriously fragmented and unorganised market, an external, editorially-driven award offers a credible signal of execution quality to customers, franchise partners and investors alike.
The ET Supply Chain Awards are judged against the backdrop of India’s broader supply chain modernisation story. As e-commerce growth, urban migration and rising consumer expectations push logistics efficiency into sharper national focus, awards platforms such as this one have increasingly gravitated toward recognising AI and machine learning as the primary lever for the sector’s next phase of improvement whether that shows up in predictive fleet management and warehouse automation for large industrial players, or, as in this case, smarter orchestration of last-mile household relocations for millions of Indian consumers.
A Company Built on Removing Friction
NoBroker Packers and Movers operates under the umbrella of NoBroker Technologies Solutions Private Limited, founded in 2014 by Saurabh Garg, Amit Kumar Agarwal, and Akhil Gupta to eliminate brokerage costs from India’s residential real estate market. Over the past decade, the parent platform has expanded from a peer-to-peer rental and resale listing service into a broader ecosystem spanning home loans, legal and rental agreement services, interior and painting services, society management software, and relocation services each vertical built around the same core philosophy: apply technology to remove cost and inefficiency at every stage of a customer’s home journey, not just at the point of transaction.
Seen in that context, this Gold award is a natural extension of that philosophy rather than a departure from it, applying AI/ML capability built to solve inefficient matching and coordination problems in real estate to an equally fragmented, equally overdue-for-disruption category: packing, transport and relocation logistics.
Looking Ahead
For NoBroker Packers and Movers, the recognition arrives at a moment when India’s logistics and supply chain sector is under increasing scrutiny for its ability to modernise using data and AI rather than manual coordination and legacy processes. Standing shoulder to shoulder with established names such as Tata Motors and ITC at a national industry awards platform gives the relocation vertical a strong data point as it continues to scale across Indian cities.
Whether this Gold marks a one-off recognition or the start of a more visible presence for NoBroker Packers and Movers in logistics and supply chain circles will likely depend on how the vertical chooses to scale and showcase its AI/ML capabilities going forward but for now, the award stands as clear evidence that a service built to make moving homes easier is also, quite literally, learning to move smarter.
