Rather than presenting lengthy explanations, Iconic Indian uses concise quotes and observations that readers can read, understand and reflect upon at their own pace. The book explores simple approaches to some of life’s complex concerns, including stress, worry, personal fulfilment and the pursuit of a meaningful life. One of its central intentions is to remind readers of their own potential and greatness.
The book’s accessible format allows individual insights to stand independently, making it possible for readers to return to particular thoughts whenever they find them relevant. Its emphasis on simplicity also makes it suitable for readers who prefer short, reflective passages rather than conventional long-form discussions on personal development.
The author’s perspective has been shaped by her professional life as a medical practitioner as well as her experiences of interacting with people from different cultures and communities. Her interests in reading, soulful music, travel and conversations with people have also contributed to the observations that form part of her writing journey.
At a time when personal well-being and meaningful living remain important concerns for people across generations, Iconic Indian offers readers a collection of reflections that can be approached one insight at a time. The book encourages readers to recognise their individual potential, find greater value in their journey and consider how they can contribute their own creativity and ideas to the world.
