National Education Awards 2026 by National Awards India Celebrate Education Excellence in Hyderabad; Mumbai Edition Announced for 25 October 2026

The event marked a significant gathering of professionals working across school education, higher education, research, skill development, training, educational leadership and innovation. The National Education Awards 2026 recognised individuals and institutions whose work has contributed to learning, student development, institutional growth, professional advancement and educational impact.

The ceremony was graced by Ms. Hashita Narayanabhatta as Chief Guest and Dr. Anup Sharma as Guest of Honour. The event was led by Mr. Yashasvi Vashishtha, Founder & CEO of National Awards India, along with Mr. Tejasvi Vashishtha, Founder of India Book of Achievements.

The formal programme commenced with welcome addresses by Yashasvi Vashishtha and Tejasvi Vashishtha, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting. The traditional ceremony symbolised knowledge, wisdom and the continuing responsibility of educators to illuminate the path of future generations. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were subsequently felicitated before the formal distribution of the National Education Awards 2026 began.

The Hyderabad Edition reflected the broad and evolving landscape of Indian education. The recognitions covered areas including school leadership, rural education, student wellbeing, higher education, research, academic mentorship, STEM education, mathematics education, teacher development, digital learning, educational administration, early childhood education, skill development, employability, institutional leadership and professional training.

The event also recognised specialised contributions in engineering education, legal education, finance education, Human Resource Management, Computer Science, sustainable research, career guidance, music education, academic administration, fashion education, electronics education, science education and educational innovation. The breadth of the categories reflected a central belief behind the National Education Awards: educational excellence can emerge from many professional settings, not only from a conventional classroom.

Yashasvi Vashishtha, Founder & CEO of National Awards India, addressed the gathering during the opening programme and set the context for the evening. National Awards India is developing a city-based and sector-focused recognition platform intended to bring meaningful professional contribution into wider public visibility while connecting achievers, institutions and leaders from different fields.

Tejasvi Vashishtha, Founder of India Book of Achievements, also addressed the gathering during the opening session. India Book of Achievements served as the presenting organisation for the National Education Awards 2026, continuing its work of identifying and celebrating achievement across professional and social domains.

The National Education Awards 2026 – Hyderabad Edition was powered by OSO Real Estates, represented by Mr. OWK Jarmiah, Founder & Managing Director. The ceremony also acknowledged Chitralai as an Associate Partner. Chitralai supported the event experience through its AI-powered media-sharing technology, enabling guests and participants to access event photographs and videos through technology-led solutions.

One of the distinguishing aspects of the National Education Awards 2026 was the diversity of its recipients. Educators and leaders from schools, colleges, universities, training institutions, professional organisations, research environments, preschools and independent educational initiatives shared the same platform. From classroom teaching and school leadership to research, technology, vocational education and professional development, the awards highlighted the many ways in which individuals and organisations contribute to the education ecosystem.

Guest of Honour Dr. Anup Sharma also addressed the gathering, sharing his message with the education community before participating in the presentation of recognitions. The evening concluded with congratulations to the recipients and acknowledgement of the partners, organisers, volunteers, production teams, photographers, videographers, designers and technical professionals who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.
