“Positive Mind Care and Research Centre Gifts Two Revolutionary AI-Powered Solutions — MITRA and MINDS — to India’s Driving Community on Driver Dignity Day 2026”
A first-of-its-kind gift of technology-led mental wellness — MITRA, an AI voice companion, and MINDS, an AI-powered mental wellness screening platform — dedicated to the men and women who keep India moving.
Gurugram (Haryana) [India], September 18: On the occasion of Driver Dignity Day 2026, Positive Mind Care and Research Centre marked the day with an act of appreciation as much as innovation, gifting India’s driving community two revolutionary AI-based mental wellness solutions — MITRA, its AI-powered voice companion, and MINDS, its AI-powered mental wellness screening platform. Together, the two technologies form a first-of-its-kind digital wellness gift, extended in recognition of the demanding, often invisible, work that professional drivers do to keep the nation moving.
A Gift, Not Just a Launch: Positive Mind Care and Research Centre is a mental healthcare and wellness organisation building India’s next generation of technology-enabled psychiatric care and AI-driven emotional wellbeing platforms. On Driver Dignity Day 2026, the organisation chose to translate its research and innovation into a tangible act of goodwill, gifting an AI technology-led solution to driver community welfare rather than simply announcing a product. In doing so, Positive Mind Care and Research Centre reinforces its brand as an organisation that puts people, and not just technology, at the centre of innovation — offering drivers across India a companion that listens, understands and supports them, at no cost, as a mark of genuine national gratitude.

Drivers are an essential part of India’s social and economic infrastructure. They connect people, transport essential goods, support businesses and help keep communities moving every day. At the same time, professional drivers often work long hours and face demanding schedules, traffic pressure, fatigue, changing road conditions and extended periods away from their families.
Positive Mind Care and Research Centre believes that recognising drivers should go beyond acknowledging their professional contribution — the person behind the wheel, and their mental wellbeing, deserve equal attention. This is precisely why the organisation chose Driver Dignity Day 2026 to gift MITRA and MINDS to the community: not as a marketing gesture, but as a genuine, accessible resource for everyday emotional wellbeing.
Through MITRA, the organisation aims to make digital mental wellness interaction more accessible, conversational and relevant to the daily lives of drivers.
MITRA — An AI Voice Companion Gifted to Drivers
MITRA is Positive Mind Care and Research Centre’s AI-powered voice assistant and mental wellness companion, designed to provide a more natural and approachable way for individuals to interact with digital wellness support — now gifted free to India’s driving community.
Its voice-first experience is particularly relevant for drivers, who spend significant portions of their working lives on the road. MITRA is designed to support conversational interaction, general mental wellness awareness and everyday wellbeing-oriented engagement during appropriate times, such as breaks or when the vehicle is safely parked.
The concept behind MITRA is simple: Drivers spend their days helping others reach their destinations. MITRA is designed to be there for them.
Positive Mind Care and Research Centre is encouraging drivers across India to download MITRA, explore the AI voice experience and make digital mental wellness a more regular part of their everyday lives.
The organisation is also encouraging fleet operators, logistics companies, transport organisations and driver communities to spread awareness about MITRA and help make this gift accessible to more drivers, nationwide.
Akhilesh Srivastava: “Driver Wellbeing Must Be Part of Driver Dignity”
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Akhilesh Srivastava, who has been closely involved in advancing this initiative at Positive Mind Care and Research Centre, said:
“Drivers are among the people who keep India movingevery single day. They work long hours, manage demanding situations and carry enormous responsibility, often while spending significant time away from their families. Driver Dignity Day gives us an opportunity to recognise not only their contribution, butalso the individual behind the wheel. With MITRA, our intention is to give drivers something meaningful and accessible — a digital companion that can encourage them to pay attention to their mental wellbeing and make conversations around it more natural.”
He further added:
“Technology becomes meaningful when it addresses real-life needs. We wanted MITRA to be simple, conversational and accessible, particularly for drivers who may not always have the time or opportunity to engage with traditional wellness platforms. This Driver Dignity Day, our message to every driver is simple: your work matters, your wellbeing matters and you matter. We encourage drivers across India to download MITRA and make it a part of their digital wellness journey.”
Beyond MITRA: A Broader Digital Mental Wellness Vision
MITRA is one part of Positive Mind Care and Research Centre’s broader effort to use technology to make mental wellness awareness and support more accessible.
Alongside MITRA, Positive Mind Care and Research Centre has developed MINDS — AI-Powered Mental Wellness Screening, bringing established mental health screening frameworks together with Artificial Intelligence-powered analysis to provide users with a convenient digital assessment experience.
MINDS — AI-Powered Mental Wellness Screening
MINDS is designed to help individuals gain greater awareness of their current mental wellness through a digital screening experience.
Where users choose to enable their device’s camera and microphone, MINDS can additionally incorporate analysis of facial expressions, emotional cues, voice characteristics and speech patterns as part of the digital experience.
By combining questionnaire responses with AI-enabled observations, MINDS is designed to provide users with a broader picture of their current mental wellness and encourage them to consider an appropriate next step.
The platform is intended to make mental health check-ins more approachable and accessible, particularly for individuals who may otherwise hesitate to begin a conversation about their mental wellbeing.
Positive Mind Care and Research Centre’s 1 Million Assessments Mission
As part of its commitment to making mental health screening more accessible, Positive Mind Care and Research Centre has set an ambitious goal of reaching 1 million people through MINDS within the next two years.
The initiative aims to encourage early awareness, reduce hesitation around mental health check-ins and help more people understand when it may be appropriate to seek professional support.
MINDS is designed as an initial wellness and awareness tool and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or clinical assessment. Individuals who require medical or psychological care should consult qualified healthcare professionals.
MITRA and MINDS — Technology for Different Stages of the Journey
Positive Mind Care and Research Centre’s digital approach brings together two complementary technology platforms, gifted together to the driving community as one unified wellness offering.
MINDS focuses on screening and awareness, helping individuals develop a better understanding of their current mental wellness.
MITRA focuses on conversation and ongoing digital interaction, providing an accessible AI-powered voice companion for everyday mental wellness engagement.
Together, they reflect the organisation’s broader vision: Awareness. Conversation. Accessibility.
For the driving community, MITRA represents an opportunity to bring mental wellness interaction closer to everyday life, while MINDS represents a way to encourage people to take an initial step towards understanding their mental wellbeing.
A Digital Gift for India’s Drivers
For Positive Mind Care and Research Centre, Driver Dignity Day 2026 is not simply an occasion to acknowledge the contribution of India’s drivers. It is an opportunity to start a conversation about something equally important — the wellbeing of the people behind the wheel — and to back that conversation with a real, tangible gift.
Through MITRA and MINDS, Positive Mind Care and Research Centre is offering two technology-based companions, gifted free of cost, designed to make mental wellness interaction more approachable and accessible for every driver in India.
The organisation invites drivers across India to download MITRA, explore its AI-powered voice assistance, take a MINDS screening and share both platforms with fellow drivers, colleagues, friends and members of the transportation community.
Your Work Matters.
Your Wellbeing Matters.
You Matter.
Drivers Move India. MITRA and MINDS Support the Journey.
As India recognises its driving community on Driver Dignity Day 2026, Positive Mind Care and Research Centre aims to use technology to support a more accessible and everyday approach to mental wellness.
With MITRA and MINDS gifted to India’s drivers, the organisation hopes to bring a supportive digital voice closer to the community — because while drivers spend their days moving the nation forward, their own wellbeing should never be left behind.
